Food was excellent and voluminous! Service was provided by a new high schooler - he was pleasant but not very attentive. Learning his job! Ambiance was OK but nothing special - adequate given we place more emphasis on the food. We will return.

The best Italian food around. Authentically made and friendly staff. The chef is very nice and will come out to see how the meal is sometimes.

We tried this restaurant for the first time the other night. We were very pleased with the delicious pasta and warm bread sticks. I was happy to see they have a gluten free pasta option as well. Our whole family enjoyed each and every item we ordered. We loved the quiet, relaxed environment and the great waitress and her service. We will be back.

A lovely little family run restaurant that reminded me of local Italian places we'd go to when I was growing up in New York. The service was friendly and fast, prices were reasonable, and the food was very tasty. They love what they do and it shows.

We tried Biaggi's for the first time Saturday night, the food and service were both very good. I tried the pasta sampler, and my wife had pasta shells stuffed with cheese, chicken and shrimp serviced over with an alfredo sauce. Everything was hot and delicious!! the parking is tight, but for the food quality, It's worth it!! Definitely will be back!

Yay! Finally a restaurant in Newton that served an array of pasta options! We waited until the hype died down and the liquor license kicked in as we enjoy a nice glass of wine with our meal. We were both pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the price. I had the lobster ravioli with shrimp and we all know where we live and how hard it is too cook frozen seafood, they nailed it. It tasted like maybe it was refreshed with a hint of lemon? The texture and cook was perfect on the shrimp and you want to take a bath in the "pink sauce". It tastes something along the lines of a vodka sauce, but not quite. He had the spaghetti and meatballs. Don't let the basic name and look fool you. The meatballs were so tender and flavorful and the fresh sauce on top was perfect. Others may complain about decor, but that is not what's important for us. Quality was fabulous and the service was just fine. We were already planning out our next menu choices and visit before we left.

Biaggi's is the new Italian restaurant in Newton IA. Thank god for this restaurant. The place finally gave us a fine restaurant to enjoy. This is by far the best restaurant in Newton IA. The food is delicious and will have you coming back for more. Two things to remember: They don't open until 4pm and parking is not ideal. Other than that, this is a place you want eat. Highly recommend the Lobster ravioli.
